Interesting email and Divinity
Colored, foreign Hormel product (see comment below)!

Betcha don't see that in Windows everyday.
In other news, I tried to make "Easy Divinity" last night. It's a kind of fluffy sugared candy. The first batch would not stand on its own (it just made little puddles). I thought it was because I hadn't whipped the eggs enough and I hadn't let the ingredients get hot enough.
My mom helped me with the second batch. It was worse than the first batch! We took the beaters to my dad to lick and his comment was, "Looks like you've discovered bathroom caulk!" The stuff was so sticky we just threw it away. Then it started hardening on the bowl and the pan, which made cleaning up no fun. I think we heated the ingredients too long the second time, even though the recipe said to wait until the candy was 265 degrees Fahrenheit. My goodness, if that was "Easy Divinity," I'd hate to see what "Advanced Divinity" would be like.
*Edit* For some reason, I keep getting odd comments on this post. Like people posting adult links. So the magic keyword that is attracting them has been deleted.
**Edit**Wow, yet another word they're keying on. (Sounds kind of like prawns. Hopefully this is the last time I'll have to update this entry.)
