Grrr... (Car rental woes)
I signed up for flexcar recently. It seemed great, and Jamey I rented a car to do wedding stuff last Thursday. However, I apparently didn't read the flexcar application right. I thought that they would accept my years of having a permit for their five year driving record requirement. I just got an email from a flexcar person that proves me wrong.
So I have to wait another 7 months to apply again. If I apply again. At this point, I'll be living somewhere with free parking, and it might be worth it to just get a car and insurance. Mostly I'm mad at myself for hoping I could meet their requirements, when the application pretty clearly states that to be eligible to apply I should "[h]ave been licensed in the United States for 5 or more years."
Damn, I hope I can rent a car on our honeymoon. That would really suck if other car rental agencies have the same requirement.
